individual financial assistance (IFA)
Purpose
This provides supplementary assistance for people receiving benefits from the Department for Human Rights, Employment and Social Integration.Amount
- Non-contributory pension beneficiaries (NCP): 14 payments of 51.33 euro, regardless of the amount of the pension.- Beneficiaries of the LISMI guaranteed minimum income subsidy and the Social Welfare Fund pension (SWF): 14 payments of 143.43euro.
Requirements and applications
Requirements:
- You must be a beneficiary of the NCP, the LISMI guaranteed minimum
income subsidy or Social Welfare Fund pension.
- You must not form part of a household that is receiving basic income
support.
- You must not reject social security benefits or benefit supplements.
You do not need to apply for this. Both recognition of the right to receive
this benefit and payment is made without any need to specifically apply
for it.
Applications:
You do not apply for this, as the right to receive this benefit is recognised without you needing to specifically apply for it.
