The Department for Human Rights, Employment and Social Integration is trying to find jobs for those people who live in extremely deprived conditions so that they can gain access to the regular job market.
TARGET GROUPS
· People living on basic income and social emergency benefits.· The long and very long-term unemployed.
· Young people under 25 with no qualifications.
· Unemployed people aged over 45.
· Ex- drug addicts and prisoners.
· Women with a family to support.
· Immigrants.
· People with physical, mental and sensory handicaps.
· Other people who find themselves socially excluded and isolated.
SERVICES
Social support
Information, guidance, motivation, support for getting people into jobs,
boosting personal resources.
Active job management
This aims to implement an affirmative action system for these people at public jobcentres, to encourage small businesses to hire these groups and to promote a greater degree of social awareness among small businesses.
